Friday basketball results include Cotter girls winning homecoming game over Alpena

Cotter was able to win a pair of girls’ basketball games over Alpena Friday on Homecoming Night.
The Lady Warriors got past the Lady Leopards in the senior high game 36-33. Kylee Chastain led Cotter with 17 points.
Cotter dominated Alpena in the junior high contest 43-15. The Junior Lady Warriors were led by Myah McNutt with 11 points, and Riley Brotherton added 10.

Flippin came away with three wins as they hosted Lead Hill for homecoming.
The Bobcats defeated the Tigers 66-48 in the senior boys’ game. Rilyn Robbins was Flippin’s top scorer with 27 points, Alex Glenn scored 13, and Tucker Thompson chipped in 10. Noah Royce had 16 points for Lead Hill, and Dawson Lively recorded 12. The Bobcats improve to 9-1 on the season.
Flippin also took the senior girls’ contest. The Lady Bobcats toppled Lead Hill by a final of 78-18.
In the junior boys’ game, Flippin was a 53-25 winner over Lead Hill. Tucker Middleton led the Junior Tigers with 10 points.

The Mammoth Spring High School teams were able to sweep another group of Bears from Ozark Mountain.
The boys’ game ended with Mammoth Spring beating Ozark Mountain 63-42. Mammoth Spring was led by Caleb Michaels with 18 points, and Ayden Matheny finished with 12.
Mammoth Spring also defeated Ozark Mountain 48-42 in the girls’ contest. Molly Corbett was Mammoth Spring’s leading scorer with 26 points.

Timbo’s high school teams ended up getting swept by White County Central. The Tigers were edged out by the Bears in the boys’ game 34-31. Timbo also lost the girls’ contest 52-26.

The Bergman High School boys picked up a win for their homecoming game. The Panthers topped Providence Academy 78-53.

Valley Springs picked up a three-game sweep over Omaha on homecoming night.
The Lady Tigers beat the Lady Eagles 77-40 in the senior girls’ game. Macy Willis paced Valley Springs with 25 points, Tayla Trammel scored 16, and Jada Wray added 11.
Valley Springs was also able to win the senior boys’ contest. The Tigers picked up an 81-48 victory over Omaha.
The evening began with Valley Springs’ junior boys beating Omaha 60-37.
