A Boone County woman was arrested after allegedly breaking into an RV and a home’s basement.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported break-in in progress, where the caller stated someone was breaking windows on their RV and had entered their basement.

Deputies arrived to find the homeowners had cornered a woman, later identified as 34-year-old Sarah Wynn, in a storage room. Authorities said Wynn appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and was placed under arrest.

Investigators determined Wynn had used a prying object to force open an RV window, damaging the glass, and had ransacked the vehicle’s interior. Deputies also found damage to sheetrock in the basement, where Wynn had been contained.

Wynn was booked into the Boone County Detention Center on one felony count of breaking or entering, one felony count of criminal mischief and a misdemeanor count of public intoxication. She was released on a $5,000 bond.
