The Mountain Home High School basketball teams are in Memphis for a special outing Tuesday afternoon. The Bombers and Lady Bombers are scheduled to meet Paragould downtown at the FedEx Forum, the home venue for the Memphis Grizzlies.
For Mountain Home’s boys, this will be their second consecutive year to play the Rams in Memphis and their third straight year to compete at an NBA arena. Two years ago, the Bombers met Heritage from Rogers at the Paycom Center, the home for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Mountain Home head coach Josh Fulcher says his team has been excited to be back at the Forum, even if the timing wasn’t great.

The Bombers enter the game with a record of 0-1. Mountain Home started its season Thursday with an eight-point loss at home to Fort Smith Northside.
This will be the Lady Bombers’ first experience at an NBA venue. Mountain Home head coach Dell Leonard says his squad is looking forward to game, and so is he.

The Lady Bombers are currently 2-1 on the season. Mountain Home’s last game was Saturday when they ended their run in the Ridge Dental Classic at Wynne with a dominating win over DeSoto Central from Mississippi.
