Employees at ASC Warranty gathered last Friday morning to give back to the community they credit with contributing to their success.
The company’s meal-packing event, now in its third year, has become a holiday tradition. Held annually on the Friday before Thanksgiving, the initiative sees employees volunteering their time to assemble Thanksgiving dinners for families in need.
The 200 meals headed to the Food Bank of NCA
ASC Warranty purchases 200 turkeys and all the fixings for complete holiday meals. The employees then pack and prepare the meals for distribution through a partnership with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, which ensures the dinners reach local families facing food insecurity.
Tammy Knight, the event coordinator, said the effort is about more than just providing meals it’s a way for employees to show their gratitude and give back to their community.
