Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule and includes both of Mountain Home High School’s teams in action.
The Lady Bombers will be competing in another neutral site outing. Mountain Home will meet Har-Ber from Springdale on the south campus of North Arkansas College in Harrison.
The Lady Bombers are currently 3-1 on the season. Mountain Home’s last game was Tuesday when they beat up on Paragould at the FedEx Forum in Memphis.
The freshman game tips off at 4 at the Pioneer Pavilion, followed by the junior varsity game. The varsity contest starts around 6 and will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
The Mountain Home boys will have another road trip. The Bombers will be in Paragould for a matchup with Greene County Tech.
Mountain Home brings a 2-2 record into the game. The Bombers’ last game was Friday when they went to Centerton and suffered a four-point loss to Bentonville West.
The junior varsity game tips off at 4 in the practice gymnasium. A girls’ game between Tech and Jonesboro starts at 5 at Eagle Arena. The varsity boys’ game between Mountain Home and the Golden Eagles will begin around 6:15 on 99.7 The Boot and streaming live at ktlo.com.
The annual Holiday Hoopsgiving will continue at the Panther Palace in Bergman. Both Mountain View teams face Jasper starting with the boys at noon, Flippin’s boys take on Paris at 2:40, the Flippin girls play Manila at 4, and Bergman will be paired with Manila for two boys’ games starting with the junior varsity contest at 5:20.
Elsewhere on the high school level, Salem will send three girls’ teams to Newark to meet Cedar Ridge, Dora’s girls travel to Van Buren, Mammoth Spring heads to Monette to face Buffalo Island Central, and Melbourne will host Highland for three girls’ games.
In junior high basketball, Harrison entertains Pottsville.
