A Boone County woman has been arrested and is facing multiple charges following an alleged assault at a local truck stop. Thirty-six-year-old Dannielle Heath has been charged with felony terroristic threatening in the first degree and several misdemeanors, including second-degree criminal impersonation, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree assault, and disorderly conduct.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Boone County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the truck stop on October 31 after a clerk reported that a woman in a gray hoodie and blue jeans had threatened to kill her and thrown a drink at her.

When deputies arrived, they found Heath yelling at the victim while standing at the counter. Despite deputies’ attempts to speak with her, Heath continued shouting. She was placed in handcuffs and escorted to the patrol car.

Deputies noted what appeared to be a drink spilled on Heath’s gray hoodie. The victim told deputies that Heath became upset after being informed the store did not accept checks as payment. She alleged Heath threw an open can of coffee at her during the confrontation, which deputies observed on the floor.

Heath was transported to the Boone County Detention Facility, where she claimed to be a Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) and an employee of the Department of Defense. Authorities reported that after using the facility’s phone, Heath threw it against a door, causing it to break into multiple pieces. She was released on a $7,500 bond.
