Bull Shoals has over 100 ballots for last day of early voting

Monday was the final day for early voting for Tuesday’s runoff elections. Bull Shoals ended up 102 ballots cast on Monday, bringing the four-day total to 376.

Polls will be open until 7:30 Tuesday evening as Bull Shoals voters elect a mayor, and citizens of Harrison will decide on the new city councilman for Ward 3, Position 1.

Carol Duss has been Bull Shoals’ mayor since her appointment in April. She is running to keep her seat as she is being challenged by William “Bill” Stahlman Jr.

Charlie Pierce and Austin Wilson are in a runoff to join the Harrison City Council. Current Ward 3, Position 1 councilwoman Liz Darden decided not to run for reelection.

Bull Shoals voters can cast their ballots at Bull Shoals City Hall on 706 C.S. Woods Boulevard. Harrison’s polling location is the Boone County Election Center at 414 West Central Avenue.
