Conway Christian tops East Poinsett County for Class 2A state championship

The first 11-man state championship in Arkansas high school football was captured by Conway Christian on Friday. The Eagles won the Class 2A title game 18-8 over East Poinsett County at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

Brady Domokos was named the game’s most valuable player as he led Conway Christian with 22 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns. Jacob Gaines ran the ball 26 times for 112 yards, and he had the Warriors’ lone touchdown.

The Eagles finish the season at 14-0. EPC falls to 10-4.
