Two Norfork residents suffered what were termed suspected minor injuries in a head-on collision Friday morning. Fifty-two-year-old Travis Prillwitz and 55-year-old Kelly Henderson were transported by ambulance to Baxter Health.
According to the crash report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by Henderson was traveling toward the Norfork bridge on Arkansas Highway 5 South. Another vehicle driven by Prillwitz was traveling in the opposite direction when it crossed into the other lane and collided head-on with Henderson’s vehicle.
Prillwitz was cited for careless and prohibited driving and driving on a suspended license following the 7:58 a.m. accident. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
