The Mountain Home High School swim teams competed in a meet at Searcy on Saturday.
The Bombers finished fourth out of 11 boys’ teams. Mountain Home had a 200-yard medley relay team scoring a state-qualifying time of 2:20.9. Caleb Due placed individual second out of 11 swimmers for the 100-yard butterfly and only lost by 0.32 of a second, and freshman Campbell Wendfelt ended up third out of 17 swimmers in the 50-yard freestyle.
The Lady Bombers took seventh place out of 10 teams. Peeka Traver led Mountain Home by finishing third out of 27 swimmers in the 50-yard freestyle.
