Bonnie Jean Cooper, born on April 1, 1943, in Rockford, Illinois to Donald and Jeanette (Ray) Burkholder passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Throughout her life, Bonnie was known for her vibrant spirit and dedication to her community. She is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Peter Paul Sarafin; husband, Bob Cooper; a brother, Michael Burkholder and a grandson, Timothy Michael Cooper.

An active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Bonnie contributed her time and energy to various groups within the congregation. She was also involved with the Republican Women’s Committee and volunteered at Baxter Hospital and the Christian Clinic, embodying her commitment to helping others.

Bonnie found joy in simple pleasures, whether it was playing cards and word games, decorating her home, cooking delicious meals, or tending to her beloved garden. Her creativity and warmth touched the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her son, Brett Stuart (Paula) Cooper; three grandchildren, Brandon Stuart (Juliana) Cooper, Daniel Lee Cooper and Rachel Kay (Cody) Sutterfield; a sister-in-law, Katy Burkholder; four great-grandchildren, Madison Lee, Brooklynn Nicole, Cooper Mason and Felix Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory. Bonnie will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and unwavering support of her family and friends.

Services are private under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
