MH gets 2 wins in 6 junior high basketball games at Batesville

Mountain Home came away with two wins as they played six junior high basketball games Thursday at Batesville.

The Junior Lady Bombers dominated the varsity girls’ game. Mountain Home breezed past Batesville 43-15.

The varsity boys’ contest had a different result as Mountain Home fell to Batesville 44-28. The Junior Bombers drop to 2-8 on the season.

Mountain Home came away with the win in a low-scoring eighth grade girls’ game. The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers doubled up Batesville 10-5.

The eighth grade boys’ game ended with Mountain Home losing to Batesville 26-20. The Eighth Grade Bombers’ record is now 1-7.

Mountain Home also lost both seventh grade games. Batesville took the boys’ game 36-24 and the girls’ contest 31-18.
