The Arkansas State Police (ASP) are currently investigating a shooting death that occurred in Lake Village on Sunday evening.
According to officials with the ASP Criminal Investigation Division (CID), officers responded around 6:30 Sunday evening to a report of gunshots at the Country Place apartments on Mulberry Street. Officers found 20-year-old Markell Lamber of Lake Village dead from gunshot wounds.
A 17-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was also injured but authorities say the juvenile has been treated and released.
As of Tuesday afternoon, CID agents state that 22-year old Antario Andrews of Lake Village has been arrested in connection with the incident. Andrews is facing charges of capital murder.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
