High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule and includes another road trip for Mountain Home. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will be in Jonesboro for a matchup with Nettleton.
Mountain Home’s girls are currently 9-2 on the season. The Lady Bombers are coming off nine-point victory over Springdale on Friday to win the Red Dog Invitational, their second tournament championship of the season. Nettleton has a mark of 8-4. The Lady Raiders defeated Mountain View on Saturday to win the Mark Martin Automotive/Lyon College High School Basketball Tournament at Batesville.
The Mountain Home boys bring a 7-4 record into the game. The Bombers picked up a 21-point win over Shiloh Christian on Friday to conclude the Bad Boy Mowers Cardinal Classic at Farmington. Nettleton is 9-1 on the year. The Raiders are coming off a 22-point win at home over Brookland.
The junior varsity boys’ game tips off at 4 at Raider Gym. The varsity contests begin around 5 and will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.
