The Cotter community is preparing to come together Saturday evening for the annual Christmas in Cotter celebration. The event will take place from 5 to 7 at Big Spring Park.
Festivities will include pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, Christmas carols, bonfires with smores and hot chocolate, goodies for children, and live Christmas music by the Cotter Choir and Band. A Christmas house decorating contest will also be featured.
The celebration is organized by volunteers from the City of Cotter, the Cotter Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, the Saturday Club of Cotter, the Cotter-Gassville Chamber of Commerce, the Nazarenko family, and Cotter Public Schools.
The event is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome.
