Friday basketball schedule includes home opener for MHHS girls

High school basketball makes up much of the local Friday schedule and includes the first home outing for the Mountain Home girls. The Lady Bombers will welcome in Heritage from Rogers.
Mountain Home is currently 10-2 on the season. The Lady Bombers are coming off a five-point win over Nettleton Tuesday night in Jonesboro.
The junior varsity game tips off at 5 at Bomber Gymnasium. The varsity contest begins around 6 and will be broadcast on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube.

Bakersfield’s boys will return to Mountain View, Mo., for the championship game of the Liberty Invitational. The Lions will meet Hartville at 8:30.

The Harrison boys will be in Conway for the opening game of the John Stanton Classic. The Goblins face North Little Rock at 5.

Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Tuckerman, Norfork travels to Greers Ferry to take on West Side, Flippin makes the trip to Mountain View, Yellville-Summit heads to Valley Springs, the Viola girls entertain Bakersfield, Gainesville’s boys are home against Summersville, Salem travels to Bergman, the Lutie boys make the trip to Koshkonong, Izard County hosts Mammoth Spring, Dora heads to Couch, Melbourne travels to Newark to play Cedar Ridge, Marshall entertains Sloan-Hendrix, and Ozark Mountain is home against Ozark Catholic for homecoming.
