Baxter Health has announced the addition of Debra Wilhite, APRN, to the Baxter Health Cardiovascular Clinic. Wilhite, a board-certified nurse practitioner, will practice alongside Dr. Zaid Alirhayim, Dr. Michael Camp, Dr. Akihiro Kobayashi, Dr. Jamon Pruitt, Dr. Patrick Tobbia, Dr. Otis Warr, Denise Beeson, and Leah Fountain.
Wilhite brings extensive experience to her new role, having most recently served patients of all ages at Access Medical Group in Mountain Home. Her professional background includes family medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, and diabetic education. She began her nursing career as a charge nurse in the ICU/Step Down unit at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Her academic credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Science in Memphis, Tennessee, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Mississippi County Community College in Blytheville.
Outside of work, Wilhite enjoys camping, spending time on the lake, and being with her family, including her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also enjoys the company of her dog, Callie. With more than 35 years of nursing experience, including 25 years as a nurse practitioner, Wilhite is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients.
