Snowfall expected to taper off Friday afternoon

The Twin Lakes Area has had a significant amount of snowfall, and a little more is expected. A winter storm warning remains in effect for north central Arkansas and southern Missouri until 6 Friday evening.

Meteorologist Justin Condrey from the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the snow should start tapering off in the afternoon.

Condrey says those having to travel will need to continue to exercise caution for the next few days.
