Harrison man killed in Tuesday crash in Searcy County

A Harrison man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Searcy County Tuesday evening. The Arkansas State Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Thomas Clay Clark.

The driver of the other vehicle, 62-year-old Mary Pollyea of Jasper, was injured and taken to North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison for treatment.

According to the report, the crash happened when Clark’s vehicle crossed the centerline of U.S. Highway 65 and hit Pollyea’s vehicle head on.

The accident happened at 5:38 Tuesday evening in the city of St. Joe.
