
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for CASA in North Central Arkansas is invited to attend the first session of training Tuesday from 4-6 at the CASA office located at 690 Highway 62 East in Mountain Home. The training sessions will be held for five consecutive Tuesday evenings. If you miss the first Tuesday, you can still catch up.
Training in Harrison begins Jan. 27.
CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Those who volunteer play an important role for abused and neglected children.
CASA of North Central Arkansas serves Baxter, Marion, Boone and Newton counties. There are currently over 200 children in their service area in foster care who need volunteer advocates to help play a positive role in their lives.
