Lorna May Dutton-Walker, 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Mountain Home. She was born on May 14, 1943, in Portales, New Mexico to Clyde Otho and Ola May (Tolburt) Spires. Lorna loved to be around children and worked for several years at Small World Pre-School and Cotter School District. She was a member of Mountain Home Church of Christ. Lorna was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old westerns on television. The thing she truly enjoyed doing was spending time with family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Lorna is survived by her husband of twenty years, John Walker of Mountain Home; one son, John Dutton of Strafford, Missouri; one daughter, Lori Manchester and her husband, Scott of Mountain Home; eight grandchildren, Kylie Galindo (Keaton), Erica Gensmer (Josh), Jordan Manchester (Hannah), Miranda Manchester, Katie McPhatter (Joe), Jordan Treat (Anna), Ali Cramer (Zach) and Colton Walker; nine great-grandchildren, Trin, Sophie, Silas, Lucas, Ethan, Gavin, Skylar, Owen and Saige; one stepson, Buddy Walker and his wife, Vicki of Mountain Home; one step-daughter, Elaina Treat and her husband, Jeff of Strafford, Missouri and one great-grandson that is on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ola May Spires; one brother, Floyd Spires and her first husband, John Henry Dutton.
Arrangements are by Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Riverside Church of Christ in Gassville, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. with Jordan Manchester officiating.
