A Boy Scout leader accused of sexual indecency with two minor females at a camp in Newton County last year has been arrested. Twenty-two-year-old Charles Bradley Cagle of Walnut Ridge was arrested last week in Paragould on sexual solicitation charges. He is facing four felony charges in Newton County.
According to the probable cause affidavit from Newton County, the incidents there happened at Camp Orr. It alleges Cagle sexually assaulted 17 and 9-year-old girls the weekend of Sept. 14-15.
The 9-year-old told investigators Cagle assaulted her and tried to pay her for sex.
The 17-year-old says Cagle started asking her for nude photos when she was 15. While at the camp in Newton County, he also offered to pay her for sex.
During the investigation, it was learned Cagle had asked two other underage females for sex while he was their Boy Scout leader.
While being interviewed by law enforcement about all four of the alleged victims, Cagle either denied the allegations or said he couldn’t remember.
Cagle is charged in Newton County with two felony counts each of second degree sexual assault and sexual solicitation of a minor. Cagle was released from the Greene County Jail Monday. His bond for the Newton County charges is set at $200,000.
