A Norfork High School senior made history Thursday when he became the first student athlete in school history to sign a national letter of intent to continue bowling on the collegiate level. Lincoln Havner will join the men’s program at Drury University in Springfield next year.
Havner has been on the Panthers’ bowling team since his freshman year and has helped the Panthers win the last two Classes 2A/1A state championships. Last season, he was the most valuable player of the 2A/1A-West Conference Tournament.
Lincoln is the son of Clayton and Stacy Havner.
