Missouri State University and Arkansas State University have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2027 and 2028 seasons, the schools announced Monday.
The series will kick off at Robert W. Plaster Stadium in Springfield on Sept. 25, 2027. The Bears will travel to Jonesboro the following year to face the Red Wolves at Centennial Bank Stadium on Sept. 16, 2028.
The teams have met four times previously, with Arkansas State hosting each game in 1991, 1997, 1998, and 2015.
Missouri State’s 2027 non-conference slate also includes games at Auburn on Sept. 4 and Cincinnati on Sept. 11, both announced earlier.
The Bears are set to join Conference USA as an FBS member on July 1, 2025. Conference schedules for 2025 and beyond will be announced at a later date.
Missouri State has also finalized several non-conference games for future seasons. A complete list is available on the school’s Future Schedules page.
