Black Hills Energy crews are responding to a damaged gas line located at 1107 Highway 62 East in Mountain Home. The company is working alongside first responders to secure the area and ensure repairs can be made safely.
Service is expected to be restored by Thursday evening. Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling in the area.
Residents are reminded to follow natural gas safety precautions. If anyone smells gas, they should leave the area immediately, alert others, and call 911 and Black Hills Energy at 888-890-5554. Avoid using electronics, open flames, or anything that could spark a fire. Do not attempt to repair the leak or operate gas valves.
