Drivers urged to use caution on U.S. Hwy 62 near Wendy’s; crews repairing gas line leak

Drivers should use caution when traveling on U.S. Highway 62/412 East in Mountain Home Thursday afternoon while crews work to repair a gas line leak.

According to emergency management, a portion of the highway in front of Wendy’s will be shut down while repairs on the gas line leak are made. The Mountain Home Fire Department, Mountain Home Police Department, Black Hills Energy, and the Mountain Home Street Department are working together to repair the line.

No one is being asked to evacuate the area at this time.
