A Mountain Home woman has been arrested after she was accused of stealing from a store 16 times over the course of a few months. Twenty-six-year-old Ariana Lynn Camp is facing charges of theft of property for the incident.
According to a probable cause affidavit, asset protection personnel at a local business provided authorities with a file documenting multiple thefts. Camp was reportedly stopped on Dec. 2, 2024, after attempting to leave the store without paying for merchandise. She was escorted back inside and allowed to pay. On Jan. 2, she was stopped again after allegedly passing all points of sale with unpaid items.
A review of store transactions revealed Camp had committed similar thefts 16 times since Oct. 6, 2024. The stolen merchandise was valued at $1,125.90. The store recovered the items during her Jan. 2 stop and is seeking $939.12 in restitution. The business provided a receipt and video footage as evidence.
Camp was arrested and booked into the Baxter County Detention Center on a felony count of theft of property. She was released after posting a $5480 bond.
