The Baker District is more in the public eye thanks to a new mural that greets visitors as they enter downtown Mountain Home. The mural has more changes coming, and downtown business leaders are looking forward to what artist Dennis Windell will do with the largest mural he’s ever painted.
The finished artwork will highlight what the District has to offer, helping to create a special excitement not just for visitors to the area, but for the community as well.

The mural comes from a collaboration between Baxter County, the City of Mountain Home, who provided funding, and the Baker District Merchants Association, who came up with the design. New sections of the mural will be added as the weeks progress. The Association is also considering adding more murals after this one is complete, with the ideal goal of one new mural every year.
