The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams began their two-day run in the Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament on Friday on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
The Bombers are currently seventh on the boys’ side with Van Buren on top of the team leaderboard. Seth King, Zane Darracq, Mario Alvarez, Mason Hill and Calin Frounfelter each went 2-1 in their respective weight categories.
Mountain Home is in 10th place in the girls’ standings with Searcy in first place. Bailee Schaffner, Ellie Miller, Olivia McCoy and Eliana Pepin were each 2-1 on the first day.
The tournament will conclude Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center.
