
The season concluded Saturday for the Mountain Home High School wrestling teams as they wrapped up action in the Arkansas State High School Wrestling Tournament on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
The Bombers finished eighth on the boys’ side with the Class 5A title going to Van Buren. Seth King was third in the 120-pound division, Mason Hill ended up third in the 175, Zane Darracq took fourth place in the 157, Mario Alvarez finished fourth in the 165, and Calin Frounfelter was fourth in the 285.
Mountain Home ended up 10th in the girls’ team standings as Searcy won the crown. Ellie Miller took third place in the 120-pound division, Eliana Pepin finished third in the 140, Bailee Schaffner was fourth in the 100, and Olivia McCoy ended up fourth in the 125.
