A Mountain Home man has been arrested for posting nude photos of his ex-wife on social media. Thirty-three-year-old Keith Michael Joseph Nelson was arrested Tuesday on the warrant and also is facing a charge out of Gassville.

According to the probable cause affidavit from the Mountain Home Police Department, Nelson’s ex-wife contacted police in November about Nelson posting nude photos of her on Facebook with a caption saying “SHE DIDN’T WANT TO FIX OUR MARRIAGE”.

The victim reported the post to Facebook. A short time later, Nelson contacted the victim, saying he was sorry and he had taken the post down. The victim showed police evidence of the Facebook post that was made from Nelson’s account and his message apologizing.

Nelson is facing a misdemeanor charge of unlawful distribution of sexual images or recordings in that case.

In the Gassville case, police were contacted Tuesday by a mother who found a nicotine vape in her 13-year-old son’s backpack. Her son told her Nelson gave it to him. The mother texted Nelson who confirmed he gave the juvenile the vape.

In that case, Nelson is charged with a misdemeanor of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Nelson was released from the Baxter County Detention Center after posting $2,000 bond.
