The City of Pyatt remains without water on the rural side of its water system, affecting 133 customers.
Mayor Cindy St. Clair said the outage was caused by a burned-out pump. A replacement has been ordered and is expected to arrive within two to three days. Once delivered, installation should take only a few hours.
St. Clair says bottled water is being distributed to residents at the Bruno-Pyatt Fire Department.
The Marion County Office of Emergency Management is searching for additional water sources. A water trailer will be available Thursday from 5 to 6 at the Bruno Fire Station located at 8804 Hwy 235 South.
Residents with questions can contact Pyatt City Hall at 870-427-3433.
