
A day of fishing and fun is set for April 12 at McCabe Park as C.A.S.T. for Kids returns, giving children with special needs a chance to cast a line and make lasting memories.
The event is free, accessible to all special needs and lunch will be provided.
Denver West, one of the event runners, says the children will be able to start fishing as soon as they arrive.

Volunteers are still being sought to fulfill a variety of roles. Those roles include registration, greeting, fishing, serving lunch, cleanup and more. Denver West’s initial experiences volunteering is what he says has kept him coming back.
