Despite the challenges facing their communities, two area schools have made big strides in math, proving that hard work and dedication add up to success.
Flippin Middle School, Yellville-Summit Elementary, and Yellville-Summit High School have been recognized by the Office of Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as schools that are Beating the Odds. Even with many students qualifying for free and reduced lunch, these schools still excelled academically, earning top marks on the ATLAS exams.
