The dry conditions have resulted in a burn ban for one local city. The ban is in effect for Bull Shoals, according to Mayor Bill Stahlman.
Currently, no other known entities are under a burn bun, but the wildfire danger has increased for all of north central Arkansas. According to the Arkansas Forestry Division, Baxter, Marion, Fulton, Izard, Searcy, Stone, Boone and Newton counties have been upgraded to a moderate danger.
