The Marion County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday night at 5:30.
Items on the agenda include:
– an amending ordinance to the operating budget to transfer unappropriated funds from the coronavirus relief fund for the repair of a low water slab on MC 3022 in Pyatt;
– an ordinance to transfer funds already approved in the 2024 budget to the state mandated budget clean-up;
– an appropriation ordinance to amend the percentage breakdown of the county’s one-percent county wide sales tax;
– an ordinance to transfer 5% of sales tax funds and transfer it to E-911;
– approval to fire an additional paralegal for the prosecuting attorney’s office; and
– a resolution for the county judge to submit an application to the Arkansas Rural Development Commission to purchase a replacement fire engine truck for the Oakland Promise Land Fire Protection District.
