
A Mountain Home teenager died Monday after his car left the roadway and struck a tree in northern Baxter County. The victim was identified as 18-year-old Caleb Stephen Uhlmann.
According to the accident report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Uhlmann was trying to negotiate a left turn at a T-intersection, but his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree head on. After hitting the tree, his car rotated and became wedged between two trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened at the intersection of County Roads 16 and 1032 in the Three Brothers area at 4:44 Monday afternoon.
