Dogs looking to catch their lucky break might be able to do so this St. Patrick’s Day season. Lucky Dawg Rescue is hosting Shamrock’in the Block, a fundraiser and adoption fair, Saturday from 9 to 3 at the Cotter Bridge Market and Big Springs Park.
The full day will include the adoption pet fair all day, the St. Patrick’s Wear Green Pet Costume Contest at 11, the Dog Parade and Pet Blessing at noon and live music by Now You Know from 1 to 3. A $20 donation is required to participate in the parade.
Patty Markowski from Lucky Dawg Rescue says they are collaborating with shelters from across the region for this event.
