Progress has been made in cleaning up after Friday night’s storm activity that resulted in the loss of three lives in Bakersfield, and the victims have been identified. Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin tells KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News Tammy Zastrow, Dana Ray Morris and Erika Ryan were on the same property when the storms occurred.
Roadways in Ozark County are passable after crews worked throughout the night and day to get them clear of debris. Sheriff Martin says several entities and individuals pulled together to clear the roads.

Personnel are continuing to assess the damage. Several vehicles have been flipped over, roofs have been folded off numerous structures, and several trees were bent over. Sheriff Martin says most of the damage is in the southeastern portion of Bakersfield.

According to the sheriff, Convoy of Hope is also on location to assist those in need at Bakersfield. In addition, the FEMA building at the Bakersfield R-IV School District is remaining open for those needing shelter.
