Pinkston’s Team A took first place in the quiz bowl.
A quiz bowl tournament took place in Mountain Home last Wednesday as local teams competed at The Sheid on the campus of ASU-Mountain Home.
Participating teams included those from Hackler Intermediate School, Pinkston Middle School, Mountain View, Highland, Viola, and Izard County Consolidated School District. Pinkston Middle School had a particularly strong showing, with its Team A claiming first place and Team B securing third.
Parent and student volunteers served as judges and moderators for the event.
Pinkston continued to performances with Team B taking third.
