Heavy wind gusts are causing an increase in power outages around the area as crews also continue rebuilding efforts from last weekend’s tornado outbreak.
As of 1:25 Wednesday afternoon North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) is reporting 1402 members without power. 785 in Baxter County, In Fulton county the count is 76, Izard County is at 51 and Sharp at 431.
Entergy Arkansas reports 71 customers without power in Baxter County, 142 in Boone County, 322 in Marion County and Stone County at 72.
