For the last few years, the Baxter County Fair has been held in August, but that’s going to change this year. The 2025 fair is scheduled for Sept. 9-13, and it will be the 75th edition at the current fairgrounds.
Baxter County Fair Association Board President Glenn Priebe says the fair had been moved up since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

This year’s fair will have a new carnival. Priebe says everyone is looking forward to working with Evans United Shows of Plattsburg, Mo.
