A strong showing by the Mountain Home NJROTC (MHNJROTC) academic team capped off the first annual Area 13 Brain Brawl Championship. The Bomber Battalion secured a second-place finish, narrowly falling to Bentonville NJROTC in the inaugural competition.
The event, a military-themed trivia contest similar to Quiz Bowl, was hosted by ASU-Mountain Home. Brain Brawl tests teams on their knowledge of military regulations, history, and current political events, with questions drawn from Naval Science textbooks and cadet regulation manuals.
In addition to the team’s success, Brian Suntken of MHNJROTC was named Brawl Star, earning a gold medal for his performance.
MHNJROTC looks to build on its success as it continues training and competing at a high level. The Bomber Battalion aims to showcase its commitment to excellence throughout a busy April schedule.
