In a hazardous weather briefing released Friday, the National Weather Service (NWS) warns that dry air and gusty winds are leading to increased wildfire danger across much of the state.

The NWS has issued a Red Flag Warning. Any wildfires occuring today could spread rapidly and not much rain is expected over the weekend. The NWS recommends no burning as most counties in the Twin Lakes area are under a burn ban.
