28th annual Sowbug Roundup to be held Thursday through Saturday

Fly fishers from as far out as Denmark will be gathering at the Baxter County Fair Grounds this week for the 28th annual Sowbug Roundup presented by North Arkansas Fly Fishers.

The expo will be held from 9 to 4 Thursday through Saturday in celebration of Euro Nymphing, a method of fly fishing, on the Norfork and White Rivers and will feature vendors, seminars, food and special guests.

Master fly fishing guide Pat Dorsey and fly tying instructor Tim Flagler will host seminars and classes with a focus on Euro Nymphing and general fly tying and fly fishing.

Admission is $10 and adults accompanying children 12 and under get in for free.
