The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.), one of the largest fishing organizations in the world, is less than a week away from having one of its series in the Twin Lakes Area. Division 2 of the St. Croix Bassmaster Opens will have its third tournament of 2025 on Norfork Lake Thursday through Saturday.
Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams says the event is a great opportunity to expose Norfork Lake to the pro fishermen.

Check-ins for the tournament will be held Wednesday at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. Boats will launch the next morning at 6:45, and weigh-ins start at 2:45 at Buzzard Roost Boat Dock. Anglers are allowed to have practice days prior to the tournament Sunday through Tuesday.
Mayor Adams talks about the economic benefits the tournament brings for the local area.

During the tournament, anglers are only allowed to be on portions of Norfork Lake and its connecting rivers, creeks and canals that are open to public fishing. Any waters closed to the public will be off limits to the contestants.
