Baxter County Quorum Court to meet Tuesday to appropriate fees

The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet in regular session Tuesday at 5:30 in the 2nd floor courtroom of the courthouse.

Items on the agenda include:

– Treasurer’s report;

– committee reports;

– a library presentation;

– an ordinance appropriating fees and reimbursements of $9,060 in the month of February to the Sheriff’s Office budget;

– an ordinance appropriating funds of $15,000 from special jail fees into jail maintenance and operation fund budget;

– an ordinance re-appropriating funds in the 2024 budget for the purpose of mandated budget cleanup; and

– a resolution confirming the appointments of Jeff Berry and Jerry Klaus by the County Judge to the Rodney Volunteer Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners.
