Tuesday schedule includes MHHS baseball, softball teams hosting Farmington

High school baseball and softball make up much of the local Tuesday schedule.

The Mountain Home baseball team returns to McClain Park as they go up against Farmington for the second consecutive day. The varsity game at Pitts Field begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity contest.

Elsewhere on the baseball schedule, Cotter hosts Alpena for a doubleheader, Flippin entertains Lead Hill, Calico Rock is home against Shirley, Bakersfield travels to Brockwell to meet Izard County, Gainesville makes the trip to Mountain Grove, Salem hosts Melbourne, Mountain View faces Valley Springs at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison, Harrison entertains Siloam Springs, and Ozark Mountain is home against Jasper.

The Mountain Home softball team will join its baseball counterparts at McClain Park as they also welcome in Farmington for a 5A-West matchup. The varsity game at Freedom Field starts at 5, and the J.V. contest will follow.

In other softball, Cotter heads to Viola, Flippin hosts Lead Hill, Yellville-Summit travels to Mountain View, Calico Rock entertains Shirley, Bakersfield makes the trip to Koshkonong, Gainesville is home against Willow Springs, Salem hosts Cave City, Izard County entertains Heber Springs, Melbourne heads to Valley Springs, Marshall travels to Quitman, Harrison is home against Siloam Springs, Omaha makes the trip to Bradleyville, and Ozark Mountain hosts Jasper.
