While a few area school districts may have changes to their bus routes on Monday, one district will be closed. The Calico Rock School District will not have classes due to the road conditions from flooding and a boil water order.

Norfork will be open, but its Lone Rock bus will be running a snow route only. Salem and Melbourne will be open, but anyone unable to attend due to road conditions can contact the school Monday morning. Izard County will also be open with the bus routes to run at the driver’s discretion.

Valley Springs’ bus drivers will also use discretion. Route 7 won’t run the Newton Line, but students can meet the bus at Estes and Sulphur Mountain Road. In addition, Route 9 won’t run Old Olvey Road, and Route 11 will avoid Clear Creek Road. For students unable to attend, call 870-302-3045.

Mountain Home is among the majority of the districts will be open on Monday and have not announced any changes to their bus routes.
