
Baseball and softball make up much of the local Monday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will be back at McClain Park as they go up against Russellville for the second straight evening. The varsity game at Pitts Field begins at 5 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere on the baseball schedule, Cotter hosts Izard County, Norfork entertains Lead Hill for Senior Night, Flippin travels to Thayer, Viola makes the trip to Concord, Gainesville heads to Conway, Salem is home against Cave City, Dora hosts Plato, Melbourne entertains Valley Springs, Mountain View is home against Bergman, Harrison travels to Van Buren, and Omaha faces Ozark Mountain on the Bruno-Pyatt campus in Eros.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will also continue conference action at McClain Park. The Lady Bombers will wrap up their current home stand against Siloam Springs. The varsity game at Freedom Field starts at 5, and the J.V. contest will follow.
In other softball, Cotter hosts Yellville-Summit, Norfork entertains Lead Hill for Senior Night, Viola makes the trip to Concord, Bakersfield heads to Gainesville, Dora travels to Mountain View-Liberty, Melbourne is home against Midland, Marshall hosts Quitman, Harrison entertains Farmington, and Omaha makes the trip to Western Grove to take on Ozark Mountain.
